Sharpening While You Shop

This marketing program is designed to do two things:

• First, to make quality knife sharpening more easily available to folks who lead increasingly busy lives.

• Second, to aid select retailers in building their business by providing their customers the convenience of having their knives sharpened while they are shopping for their daily needs. This, of course, provides the added benefit of helping our business grow as well.

More than nine out of ten households have dull kitchen knives that their owners would like to have sharpened. But either due to work schedules, not knowing who does sharpening, or who can be trusted to do a quality job, those knives don’t get sharpened.

Also, most service providers who sharpen knives don’t have the ability to do them on the spot.

Most households don’t have “back-up knives” and can’t be without their tools for days or longer while they are being serviced.

Sharpening While You Shop is also a valuable program for retailers. Industries such as grocery stores and specialty retailers are increasingly competitive. A retailer who features occasional Sharpening While You Shop events provides a value added service customers appreciate, and brings in customers they may not have seen otherwise.

The best part of featuring a Sharpening While You Shop event for retailers is that the event has NO IMPACT inside their stores, and COSTS them NOTHING!

Sharpening While You Shop, with our completely mobile fully self contained vehicles, uses only a small space in the parking lot convenient to customers, yet outside the store. Customers drop their knives off on their way into the store, and pick them up on their way out when they have completed their shopping.
